The SmartSole^™ is a powerful anti-microbial shoe insert. Foot infections and foot odor are inextricably linked to foot sweat. Instead of trying to battle the inevitable, we designed a system that used foot sweat to our advantage, unlocking the antimicrobials in the insole and distributing them throughout the shoe environment for a total solution to microbial control on the foot and sock, and in the shoe.

The SmartSole^™ uses proprietary Ionixx^™ Blue Shield technology to break the cycle of foot odour and microbial infection by inactivating the source of bacteria and fungi.

1. Microbial colonization
Perspiration removes bacteria and fungi from the epidermis and carries it through sock fabric to the SmartSole^™. Perspiration flows through porous SmartSole^™ material.

2. Neutralization
Perspiration flows through porous SmartSole^™ material. Anti-microbial layer neutralizes microbe-carrying perspiration. A miniscule amount of zinc and copper ions remain in the perspiration.

3. Pump action
Caused by change in pressure (walking / running), the pump action distributes anti microbial laden perspiration throughout the entire shoe and sock, and to ALL AREAS of the stratum corneum, eliminating on a continuous basis, the remaining parasitic microbes.
